MobyDex Presented at the BMV Booth at InnoTrans 2026
From 22 to 25 September 2026, the research project MobyDex was presented as part of an exhibit at the booth of the German Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV) during InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore MobyDex and gain insights into the project’s approach to data-driven mobility analysis. A highlight was the web-based MobyDex Global Analysis Tool, which enables the interactive visualization of mobility supply, mobility demand, and the various metrics of the MobyDex Mobility Index.
Using the Ruhr Metropolitan Region and the Karlsruhe Region as examples, the tool demonstrated how heterogeneous mobility data can be integrated and analyzed to support planning and decision-making processes. The application illustrates the potential of data-driven methods for improving the analysis and design of sustainable mobility systems.
The presentation at InnoTrans provided an excellent opportunity to showcase MobyDex to an international audience from industry, public administration, and academia, while fostering discussions on the future of digital mobility planning.
